Professional Background
Specialist expertise
Brian is a licensed insolvency practitioner and a chartered accountant (ICAS). He covers all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency as well as debt advisory.
With over 25 years’ specialist expertise in bankruptcy and liquidations, Brian’s main focus is on working with SMEs in distress and supporting and advising individuals with debt problems.
Recent work highlights have included being appointed as administrator of a company which owned an 18th century Scottish castle, liquidator to an international high-end online fashion retailer, and a number of assignments relating to the distressed sale of intellectual property.
About Brian
Prior to joining us, Brian worked at Big Four firms for 15 years before moving on to become a Partner and head of restructuring and debt advisory at an accountancy and business advisory firm.
In his spare time, Brian is passionate about health and fitness and enjoys both boxing and golf.
