Iryna is an experienced corporate investigator with extensive technical knowledge, delivering high quality and pragmatic outputs.
With more than 20 years’ experience, she has led and managed high-profile investigations across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with insolvency practitioners, lawyers, regulators and other stakeholders to identify and investigate alleged wrongdoing, quantify claims arising from insolvencies, compliance failures, fraud and financial misconduct, and provide litigation support in pursuit of recovery.
Iryna has extensive experience leading and supporting large and complex investigations involving corporate failures, allegations of director misconduct, asset dissipation, fraud, bribery and corruption and insolvency-related investigations across several jurisdictions, including BVI, UK, USA, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
She combines forensic accounting expertise with a strong insolvency background, enabling her to effectively investigate transactions, trace assets, assess potential claims and support litigation and recovery strategies. Her experience spans financial services, investment funds, property development, telecommunications, oil trading, mining, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and aviation.
About Iryna
Iryna is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has a degree in accountancy and audit. She started her career in insolvency and business recovery with a leading independent insolvency and business recovery specialist firm in the UK. As a result of a natural cross-over between insolvency and investigations, she developed a passion for forensic accountancy that led her to shift her focus to forensic investigation. She has since worked on numerous complex and challenging fraud, bribery and corruption and insolvency-related investigations in several jurisdictions.
Iryna is a native Ukrainian and fluent Russian speaker.
Outside of work, Iryna enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
