Pieris is a Director in the restructuring team based in Watford. He is a qualified Insolvency Practitioner and Chartered Certified Accountant with over 17 years’ experience in the restructuring and insolvency profession. He specialises in advising owner-managed businesses, secured lenders and other key stakeholders in distressed situations.
A strong advocate of seeking advice at an early stage, Pieris works closely with clients to identify practical solutions that maximise the prospects of business rescue. His primary focus is on preserving viable businesses and safeguarding employment wherever possible.
Pieris’ recent work has encompassed assignments across a broad range of sectors including construction, recruitment, technology, leisure and hospitality. Notably, Pieris led the liquidation of Watford Printers Limited, the UK’s oldest worker co-partnership society, established in 1921 by a group of typographical associations.
About Pieris
Having graduated from Middlesex University in 2008 with a First-Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance, Pieris joined a top ten accountancy firm through its graduate programme. He completed his ACCA qualification while working within the firm’s restructuring and insolvency team, gaining extensive experience across a broad range of restructuring and insolvency assignments. In 2020, he joined Quantuma.
Outside of work, Pieris enjoys spending quality time with his young family. He is also a keen car enthusiast and a Manchester United supporter.
