Richard is a Director in the insolvency team in Southampton; his focus is on ensuring efficient management of solvent and insolvent assignments to maximise the returns to creditors as well as shareholders. He has experience of dealing with both personal and corporate insolvency cases as well as with insolvency processes in foreign jurisdictions.
Richard’s role includes advising clients on the various insolvency options available to them and the implementation of an agreed strategy. He also takes responsibility for the finance function and other internal controls within the Southampton office.

Richard is a qualified accountant and is also an insolvency practitioner although he does not hold an insolvency licence. Richard is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals, R3. Richard has worked in the insolvency industry for 20 years and joined Quantuma in 2013.
In his spare time, Richard follows the ups and downs of AFC Bournemouth. He spends the rest of his time running around after his two children.
